DC Flight Club, a registered nonprofit under 501(c)(3), is committed to motivating young people to explore and embrace Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) disciplines, by providing hands-on educational experiences that drive curiosity, foster innovation, and empower them to achieve their objectives. Our ultimate goal is to inspire the next generation of leaders that will shape our world and make our society a better place.
Our Vision
DC Flight Club envisions a future where all young people, regardless of their social or economic background, are fully aware of the diverse and rewarding career possibilities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). To achieve this vision, we strive to design and endorse STEM education initiatives, organize innovative events, provide scholarships, and collaborate with like-minded institutions to create a supportive environment for our communities. Our ultimate aim is to equip the younger generation with the tools and knowledge necessary for a more prosperous and equitable future.
Our Objectives

- To inspire young people to pursue educational opportunities that will prepare them to become future aviators and equip them to make a meaningful contribution to the aviation industry. ​

- To foster diversity and inclusion in the aviation industry by increasing the participation of underrepresented minorities through targeted exposure, training, mentoring, and scholarship programs that enhance their capabilities, skills and competitiveness in the industry.

- To facilitate the growth of a more diverse and qualified workforce in the aviation industry by encouraging and supporting the careers of underrepresented minorities, including aviation professionals, engineers, scientists, and other well-qualified personnel, who can bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the industry.
